Birds - Bell's Vireo
Class:Aves Order:Passeriformes Family:Vireonidae Genus:Vireo

Bell's Vireo, Vireo bellii. Gray and yellow songbird, found in Mexico and the United States. Something that distinguishes this bird is its faint white eye ring. The Bell's Vireo can be found in a variety of wooded or brushed settings and they eat insects. Named after Alexander Graham Bell. Nick Varvel photographed this Bell's Vireo at Hillsdale Reservoir in August. I found one at the Tall Grass Prarie in May.
