Birds - Brown Creeper
Class:Aves Order:Passeriformes Family:Certhidae

Brown Creeper, Certhia americana. These small birds blend in well with the bark of trees, as they move up and down the trunk searching for insects with their beaks. They have a white belly, long, thin bill and a long tail. These Creepers appear to only feed in trees and not on the ground or at a feeder. Their markings allow them to virtually disappear while walking up or down a tree. A glimpse of the white belly or a profile view exposing the long beak will give them away.
