Birds - House Wren
Class:Aves Order:Passeriformes Family:Troglodytidae

House Wren, Troglodytes aedon. A light brown wren with consistent, small white details and accents down the tail feathers and thin, faint white stripes on the wings. There are several sub-species of House Wren, but all have white eyerings. First noticed several immature House Wren deep in a cluster of Rose Of Sharon bushes in late May. By early June I started to see the adults more frequently. Still a little unsure about how to tell the differences between the House Wren and the Carolina Wren. I think the House Wren might be a little darker with less pronounced eyebrow markings.

All species pages are currently being updated with more useful descriptions and information.
