The Voice’ Judges Think 14-Year-Old Kid Is Pranking Them When They Hear His Huge, Deep Voice

Blind auditions on The Voice always bring surprises for the judges. Fourteen-year-old Jacob Norton from Colchester, Essex, stunned everyone with his audition. Despite his young age and tall stature, Jacob’s deep voice amazed the coaches. Singing “Puttin’ On the Ritz,” Jacob sounded much older than his years. Coaches Pixie Lott, Will.i.am, and Danny Jones were shocked and turned their chairs in disbelief. The audience cheered wildly as Jacob confidently performed, interacting with them and impressing the judges even more.

After his outstanding performance, Jacob couldn’t contain his excitement, jumping and cheering like a typical teenager. The judges praised his unique voice, with Pixie describing it as “rich” and “speechless.” Danny expressed admiration for Jacob’s talent, and all three coaches competed to have him on their teams. Ultimately, Jacob chose Team Danny, thrilled by the unexpected turn of events. In an interview, Jacob admitted his nerves but was elated by the judges’ response.
