The judges of Britain’s Got Talent wished Beau Dermott luck when she informed them that she would be singing “Defying Gravity” from the well-known musical Wicked. Beau is 12 years old.
The young lady wowed everyone with her powerful voice and outstanding talents, keeping the audience spellbound the entire time. Unlike many other vocalists of her era, or any age for that matter, she didn’t simply stand and sing. She also acted the part quite emotionally and expressively.
By the end, Simon Cowell and the judges were the only ones still standing. You can see the delight and astonishment on her face as one of the judges presented her with the coveted Golden Buzzer!
